We all know that high school helps you prepare for the basics on whatever career you choose at college, but are you ready for college? Most of the students' preoccupations from college are not feeling ready for it. However, everyone is capable of everything.

According to the American College Test (ACT) only 21 percent of the students have all the skills required to succeed academically in college and 26 percent have the ability to earn a C. "Some students in the class were extremely smart; they always had the answers to the professors questions... I started studying frequently, taking notes in class, form study groups, and visited in study hours." The key is organization.

The school gives us all of the basic material needed, but we need to take more advantage of them and try to learn not only for the test but to learn for our day-to-day basis. College is not like school, "professors did not provide us class notes," so you need to be aware of whatever the professors said twice, write on the board, or resolve problem that were not in the book.

"College is as hard as you want it to be," says Danilo Soto. Professors care about your understanding the concepts. "Lose the shyness, ask more questions in class, and improve your studying habits," are Danilo's advice. Take college seriously from the beginning and never limit yourself at anything.
